Robert Spaima (he/him)

Program Manager - Quantum Lab, BioInnovation Institute

Robert Spaima works at the intersection of venture-backed growth, commercialization, and ecosystem building, with nearly 10 years of experience supporting technical and science-driven founders. He has led portfolio support across 30+ startups annually, managed a global network of 200+ advisors and mentors, and worked closely with founders on commercialization, fundraising readiness, go-to-market strategy, and investor-facing preparation.

Today, he manages the Danish chapter of NATO DIANA at BioInnovation Institute in Denmark, supporting dual-use companies working across deeptech, medtech, diagnostics, and defence-adjacent innovation. As a former founder who helped build a startup to €100k MRR in under four months, Robert brings a practical founder-operator lens to his mentoring and enjoys helping teams translate technical promise into clearer stories, stronger stakeholder relationships, and real-world traction.
