Georges Ghazal (he/him)

At Teralys Capital, Georges leads venture and growth investments that back the most ambitious fund managers and entrepreneurs across technology and life sciences. He plays a central role in shaping Teralys’s global investment strategy, overseeing commitments across North America and Europe and guiding the firm’s relationships with top-tier venture platforms.

Since joining the firm in 2019, Georges has led due diligence on venture and growth funds, structured co-investments in leading tech and biotech companies, and helped expand Teralys’s reach as one of the most active innovation investors in Canada.

Before joining Teralys, Georges worked in mergers and acquisitions at Philips in Amsterdam, supporting the company’s strategic transformation toward healthcare technology. He began his career at Syquant Capital in Paris, specializing in merger arbitrage and event-driven strategies.

Georges holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from McGill University and a Master in Finance from IE Business School in Madrid.
