Gabriel Sundaram is a startup operator, investor, and community builder focused on fintech, marketplaces, and AI-driven consumer products.
He is currently leading Attain, a consumer fintech startup helping the next generation build wealth through homeownership using AI-powered financial guidance and planning tools. Alongside operating startups, he contributes to a fintech newsletter with more than 300,000 readers, curating insights and trends for founders, operators, and investors.
Previously, Gabriel was part of the founding investment team at Canada’s first at-scale pre-seed and seed venture fund, where he worked closely with hundreds of early-stage startups while helping build the firm’s platform and ecosystem from the ground up.
Based in Montreal, Gabriel is deeply involved in the local startup ecosystem and helps organize community-led initiatives, including Northstar, TechPoutine, Montreal Startup Guide, Startup Drinks Montreal, Startup Open House, and Notman House.
