Currently a Senior Advisor supporting industry partnerships at Mila - Quebec Institute for Artificial Intelligence, the world's largest academic research lab in deep learning, Sophie plays an instrumental role in bridging opportunities between private-public stakeholders and key ML resources. From local startups to big tech companies, she has managed multi million dollar research collaborations and helped shape key initiatives for local and international partners alike.

With over 10 years of experience in the ITC sector, political economy, and international development, Sophie’s multidisciplinary background has propelled her career enabling strategic alliances for transformative AI-driven impact.

Sophie is a graduate from Concordia University and Université de Montréal, where she acquired a Masters in Development and Political Economy. Her academic achievements complement her practical expertise in driving impactful partnerships and advancing technological frontiers.
