Bachar Elzein (he/him)

Bachar Elzein is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of Reaction Dynamics, a Canadian-grown launch company developing storable and containerized launch infrastructure designed to provide reliable and immediate access to space.

Under his leadership, Reaction Dynamics has progressed from advanced propulsion research to globally differentiated launch architecture aligned with commercial markets and public-sector priorities. The company works in partnership with entities like DND, the Canadian Space Agency, Defence Research and Development Canada, and NATO DIANA to translate innovation funding into operational capability.

Bachar’s work focuses on enabling assured access to space as a foundation for modern economies; supporting the continuity of satellite-enabled services across finance, agriculture, energy, environmental monitoring, and public safety. He studied mechanical engineering with a focus on combustion dynamics at École Polytechnique de Montréal.
