Sam Rudolph (she/her)

Staff Product Manager, ecobee

Sam is an entrepreneurial product and people leader who has spent over a decade building and launching connected hardware and software products, including five 0-to-1 launches, across the regulated, complex cleantech, smart home, automotive, and construction industries.

She dropped out of McGill law school to become the first non-engineering hire at dcbel, a cleantech startup backed by Coatue, WTI, and Volvo Cars, where she launched the company's flagship product, the Ara Home Energy Station, giving consumers ownership over their energy supply through bidirectional EV charging, solar power, and battery storage. She played a pivotal role in scaling the dcbel team from pre-seed to over 100 people and a $50M+ Series B.

Sam now serves as Staff Product Manager at ecobee driving product launches and growth across the energy portfolio. She continues to do her best work within the intensity of shipping beautifully designed physical devices at scale.
