Marty is an exited tech founder and angel investor. As co-founder and CEO of Blockthrough, he grew the company from inception into the global market leader in adblock user monetization, culminating in its acquisition by the parent company of AdBlock and Adblock Plus, the world's most widely used ad-blocking software, in 2022.

Under Marty's leadership, Blockthrough counted more than half of the top 100 US web publishers among its customers, including Yahoo & MSN, and was repeatedly ranked as one Canada's fastest-growing companies by Deloitte and the Globe and Mail.

A recognized thought leader in online advertising, Marty has served as President of the Acceptable Ads Committee, the international non-profit governing the Acceptable Ads Standard, which affects over 350 million internet users daily. He's a previous EY Entrepreneur of the Year finalist and Ottawa Forty Under 40 honoree.
