Rene Caissie is the Co-Founder and CEO of Medeloop, a company developing AI agents for healthcare analytics, clinical trials, and electronic health records. His expertise lies in applying AI to healthcare data to advance both patient care and medical research.
Rene is also an Adjunct Professor at the Stanford University School of Medicine, where he teaches entrepreneurship in digital health. He is a faculty affiliate at the Stanford Center for AI in Medicine & Imaging and lectures in Stanford’s Master of Science in Clinical Informatics Management program, mentoring students in practical informatics applications. At UCSF’s Translational Medicine Program, Rene focuses on addressing real-world challenges in bringing medical technology into clinical use.
Previously, Rene founded several healthcare technology companies, including Medesync EMR, which was acquired by TELUS Health.
