Geneviève Tanguay (she/her)

Partner, Panache Ventures

Geneviève Tanguay is partner at Panache Venture. She was previously the CEO of Anges Québec (2021-2), the largest private network of Canadian investors with which the venture capital investment fund AQC Capital invests. She has over 25 years of experience in investment and has participated in numerous private equity transactions in industrial sectors and venture capital in several innovative sectors at the Fonds de Solidarité, the largest Quebec-based venture capital investment network. Geneviève was also responsible for corporate development at Biron Groupe Santé.

Her diverse roles have allowed her to serve on more than twenty boards of private companies and to be involved in the strategy and growth of these businesses. Highly engaged in her community, Geneviève has served on several boards of non-profit organizations, including the prestigious Institute of Corporate Directors (I.A.S) and Leucan. Finally, she is a former board member of the federal company VIA Rail from 2017 to 2022, and a member of the boards of Centech, SCALE AI, the JCCM Circle, and the company Globocam. Geneviève holds a Bachelor's degree in Finance from HEC Montréal and is a mentor at the Creative Destructing Lab (CDL).

Geneviève is passionate about Montreal’s attractiveness, opening doors to women in the world of venture capital, and supporting the progress of young innovative entrepreneurs building our society. She received the Investor Award in 2023, awarded by the Montreal startup community, and the John Molson Prize, which recognizes a business personality who stands out and makes an exceptional contribution to Quebec’s business and entrepreneurial community.

Geneviève is frequently invited to speak on various platforms (Les Affaires) and as a speaker (C2, Montreal Conference, IAS, etc.) on topics related to entrepreneurship, investment, innovation, AI, leadership, and governance.
