Emilie Hamel (She/her)

Emilie, Senior Vice-President of Operations at GHGSat, is a visionary leader in greenhouse gas remote sensing. She leads the strategic expansion and operation of GHGSat's growing fleet of over 10 satellites. The critical data generated under her guidance empowers industries to pinpoint and repair infrastructure leaks, significantly enhancing operational efficiency and advancing global environmental objectives. This impactful work, transforming and positively impacting the quality of life in Canada, is at the core of why GHGSat was recently honored with the 2025 Governor General's Innovation Award. Emilie is a proud graduate of HEC Montréal and Université Laval.
