Erica Barbosa Vargas (she/her)

Erica is Director of Private Investments at Eclipx, a recently established single family office, created in 2023, in part to broaden the capacity of the Trottier Family Foundation to apply its sustainable investment objectives to its endowment, as well as to carry over those practices into private family assets. She has 20 years of experience in impact investing and international development, having worked most recently at SecondMuse Capital and the McConnell Foundation before that. She is recognized for her leading work in the field having contributed to Canada’s sustainable finance and impact investing development. Erica completed undergraduate studies in behavioral psychology and neuroscience, and holds an MPA in Public and Economic Policy from the London School of Economics & Political Science. Erica is originally from Bolivia and is passionate about building a caring world in which every person has the opportunity and freedom to develop their full potential in a healthy and joyful environment.
