Laurence Audette-Lagueux (she/her)

General Manager, Garage & co

As Assistant General Manager, Laurence is a hard-working and motivated professional with a solid 7-year background in entrepreneurship, management, communications and marketing. Passionate about creating high-impact initiatives that contribute to the development and outreach of Montreal's entrepreneurial community, she excels at collaborating with key partners to bring ambitious projects to fruition and mobilize teams towards common goals.

Since September 2021, as Director of Operations and Director of Incubation at Continuums, Garage&co. in Montreal, she has developed operational guidelines and identified opportunities for improvement. She optimized team performance by documenting internal processes and ensuring fluid communication between departments. She also established partnerships with stakeholders to develop business and collaboration opportunities, both for the organization and for the startups incubated at Garage&co.

Previously, Laurence held the position of project manager: ecosystem at Startup Montréal, where she developed high-impact projects such as the Portrait de l'écosystème startup de Montréal (2019-2020), the mapping of Montréal's startup ecosystem and the concierge service. Her background also includes experience at FrontFundr as a campaign manager, at Impak Finance as a community architect, and at KissKissBankBank as a campaign manager. In these jobs, Laurence helped over 30 startups and entrepreneurs raise a total of 15 million in investment and donations.

She was also a founding member of Ouishare Montréal, a *think thank* focused on transforming society through the digital and sharing economy. This entrepreneurial experience gave her the opportunity to collaborate with partners such as Michelin, Kijiji, Coopérative Europe and the Ministère de l'Économie, de l'Innovation et de l'énergie.

Laurence obtained a DESS in Management of Cultural Organizations at HEC Montréal, with an international exchange in Creative Business at EDHEC Business School in Lille. She also obtained a B.A. in Literary Studies from Université Laval, with an international exchange in Literary Studies at Université Aix-Marseille.

She has also participated in leadership programs such as the International Visitor Leadership Program 2019 and was a member of the Réseau Jeunes Femmes Leader.
