Rodrigo Prudencio (he/him)

Climate Technology Investor

Rodrigo is the co-founder and investment leader of Amazon’s $2Bn Climate Pledge Fund where he is responsible for leading eight of the fund’s investments across several sectors including transportation electrification, aviation, energy storage, and carbon measurement. He previously served as an investment lead for the Alexa Fund where he led the Alexa Accelerator, powered by Techstars and was responsible for over 35 investments in early stage startups innovating in voice, language modeling, and ambient computer interfaces. He was the founder of Shuddle, the first transportation network to serve children and CEO of Hara Software. He was previously a partner at Nth Power, the first venture capital fund to focus on investing in energy technology startups. Earlier in his career, he led an international environmental policy program for the National Wildlife Federation, and served as a senior aide to the U.S. Department of State Under Secretary for Global Affairs. He received his MBA from the Haas School of Business, UC Berkeley, and his undergraduate degree from Middlebury College.
